Comp Highlight: Ultimate £1300 Brake Comp!

For only £2 you can win the Ultimate £1300 Brake Comp with global shipping included!

This gives you the chance to win any brakes of your dreams, check this article for reviews and inspiration!

My personal favourites are still the Hope Tech4 V4 overall for pure power, modulation, price and options - you can read my long-term review here with input from a bunch of loyal AstonMTB followers.

Previously, I also reviewed and gave away the King of Brakes from Germany: the uber-expensive Trickstuff Direttissima. Read the review here.

Other awesome brakes include the Formula Cura X if you are looking for lightweight and 2-piston simplicity. More 2-piston specialties from the Italian brand Braking Brakes were also reviewed and featured on my Commencal Supreme Supreme a few years ago.

More recently, the Lewis LHT brakes were awesome, though they seem divided in the comments between lovers and haters of amazing price and performance versus Chinese-copycat opinions.

The latest brakes on test were the massive Magura Gustav which offered excellent power but not the finish, adjustment and modulation I’d like to see for the price.

Newbies in the bike world include the Raicam RGR Factory from Italy which I’ve put 6000m of descending into recently (review coming soon), and also the all-new HelPerfomance from UK. Both brands already have big stakes in the aerospace, automotive and superbike world and are now joining the mountain bike gang. The Hel’s will be fitted to a bike soon and put through their paces.

The maximum package value is set at £1300 so the incredible German-made Maxima's or Diretissima's from Trickstuff are the most expensive option. If you win, choose any brake or brakes of your choice, including rotors, spares, bleed kits etc with a total value of £1300. For example: 1x pair Trickstuff Maxima, 2x pairs Hope Tech4 or 3x pairs of Lewis LH4's - the choice is yours!

As usual, global shipping is included!

Great! But, how do I win?

To win this package all you need to do is head to my Comp Page answer a simple question and you have an extremely good chance to win.

As always, all prizes are for BRAND NEW products, in a choice of size/spec/colours to suit the rider and their bike.

Global shipping is also included so entrants are invited from anywhere in the world.

These competitions fund my reviews which I believe are the only truly independent MTB reviews online. All of the prizes and all of the products you see are bought by me - no sponsored posts, no freebies and no back-handers.

Thanks, Paul.
